Waldo Holt Preserve Field Trip

Meet leader Dave Fries at the entry gate at 7:30 a.m.  For those who haven’t been to the Preserve, it is located on Lower Sacramento Rd, on the left, about 200 yards north of where Liberty Rd tees in to Lower Sac.  The plantings for the mitigation have grown considerably making good habitat for Western Bluebirds and other species.  We will be walking on dirt roads with maybe a couple of pokes into the riparian area.  Bring water and any food you might want for yourself.  The is a port-a-pot on the site.  Plan to leave the site around 11:00 a.m.  Contact Dave at dfries.audubon@gmail.com if you have questions about the trip.
